It The project aimed to train 60 leaders from 30 cocoa cooperatives on the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), Productivity Enhancement Programmes (PEPs), and the African Regional Standard – 1000 (ARS-1000) to enhance sustainable cocoa farming practices.
Implemented by the Rights and Advocacy Initiatives Network (RAIN), the project conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops in the Nyinahin and Nkawie Cocoa Districts, followed by cooperative-level follow-ups to ensure knowledge dissemination. As a result, cocoa farmers gained a deeper understanding of international regulations, improving compliance and sustainability.
